LynX Business Integrator is a highly configurable software product that:

	Provides upload/download access to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne® (by accessing it through the application layer and not "back door methods"),
	Allows you to connect other applications with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne®,
	Provides detailed tracking/auditing information, and
	Comes with Office Business Application (OBA) Toolkit. OBAs are a new breed of applications that are built on the on the Microsoft Office Platform. OBAs integrate specific parts of the ERP systems directly into the Office interface that your users interact with on a daily basis.

Solve these Business Problems We developed this product in response to some customers' needs. Here are some of the questions that inspired this software:

	My finance department has a love affair with Excel. Why can’t we just let them key their data into Excel, then easily upload the data to JDE without violating our security rules or the data validation that JDE enforces? Otherwise, they are just going to end up having to key data into both!!
	How can I easily upload data to JD Edwards without using Z-files or complicated multi-step procedures?
	How can I easily extract data from EnterpriseOne to Excel and/or text files?
	How can we obtain SOX-required tracking information for uploads to and extracts from JDE?
	Is there any way to set up a web interface where our vendors can enter sales orders without actually logging in to the JDE software?

Aellius LynX Business Integrator™ is a robust Microsoft .NET based integration platform for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne^®. It can be used to to integrate any front-end (Microsoft Office^®, for example) or back-end system (Microsoft BizTalk^®, Oracle^® SOA Suite, TIBCO^®, for example) with EnterpriseOne. Web Services Out-Of-The-Box LynX Business Integrator includes a web service which serves as the the entry point for document submission. All information is exchanged in XML format. The web service provides methods (or functions) that can be called from any external source. These methods allow the external source to log in to EnterpriseOne, submit documents and query the status of a document. Configuration and Administration LynX Business Integrator is easily configured using a web-based administration console (LynX Document Tracker). The Document Tracker is also used to monitor documents and troubleshoot errrors. Scalability LynX Business Integrator can be scaled vertically on a single server or horizontally across multiple servers. Integration Architecture LynX Business Integrator natively integrates with EnterpriseOne using JD Edwards APIs. It does not use Z Files, XML Call Object or other interoperability methods to integrate with EnterpriseOne. A .NET Based Business Process can be created with any .NET programming language using Visual Studio.NET. The following EnterpriseOne functions can be included in Business Processes:
