Component

Description

Repository Database A Microsoft SQL Server® database that contains configuration information and provides storage for inbound documents (for both REST and SOAP based web services).
Integration Server A Microsoft Windows® server that executes business processes.
Document Tracker A web application that is used to configure the Integrator and keep track of documents.
Build and Deployment Tool A tool to build and deploy Business Process Manifests (created by developers) to the system.
Web Service The entry point to process inbound and outbound documents (for both REST and SOAP based web services).
Secure Access A web app that enables Single SignOn (SSO) through a trusted identity provider. Active Directory (on-prem) and Azure Active Directory are supported.
LynX Submit A tool for submitting documents to the server (used for testing and troubleshooting).
Web Proxy Connector A .NET library and COM component that can be used by third party applications to submit documents to the web service.
Service Connector A .NET library that can be used by third party applications to submit documents to the web service. The web service connector uses WCF (Windows Communications Foundation) technology to communicate with the LynX Web Service.
LynX Outbound Web Service Connector DLLs and .Net libraries that allow C Business functions to create, change and submit XML documents to the LynX Web Service.

System Requirements

System Requirements

Repository Database
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014 or later.
  • The SQL Server must support SQL authentication.
  • TCP/IP database connectivity.
Integration Server
  • JDE EnterpriseOne Windows Application Server that meets the Minimum Technical Requirements suggested by Oracle. This server must be configured and fully functional as an application server in your CNC configuration. (See Note 1 & 2)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
Document Tracker
  • Windows Server with IIS 8.5 (or later) installed. Add the Web Service Role to install IIS 8.5. Click the image below for list of roles to be installed.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
  • Internet Explorer (11.0 or later). Chrome (v30 or above), FireFox (v32 or above).
LynX.Net Developer
  • EnterpriseOne Fat client or Web Development Client that meets the Minimum Technical Requirements suggested by Oracle
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
  • Visual Studio 2015 or later (installed with Visual C#). Community editions are supported.
Build and Deployment Tool
  • Any Windows based computer with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 installed.
Web Service
  • Windows Server with IIS 8.5 (or later) installed. Add the Web Service Role to install IIS 8.5 (role requirements are the same as that for Document Tracker).

LynX Submit
  • Any Windows based computer with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 installed.

LynX Outbound Web Service Connector
  • JDE EnterpriseOne Windows Application Server that meets the Minimum Technical Requirements suggested by Oracle. This server must be configured and fully functional as an application server in your CNC configuration. (See Note 1 & 2). This server can be the same as the Integration Server.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8

Note 1: If there are sufficient resources, the server components (repository database, integration server, document tracker and web service) may reside on the same computer.

Note 2: LynX Business Integrator supports all EnterpriseOne databases and operating systems. However, the Integration Server must be configured as a Windows Application Server (with full set of E1 server specs and a full server package build) in your CNC configuration. It does not have to be your primary Enterprise server (used for reports, security server etc.). This architecture delivers superior performance.
